Jennifer Deirmendjian — Violin

Jennifer began playing the violin at the age of 5 as a student of Dawn Phelps,. While in high school, she attended The Colburn School of Performing Arts, where she studied with Richard Schwabe and Harry Shiranian, and also attended Hamilton Music Academy in Los Angeles. She went on to Chapman University where she studied Violin Performance with Mischa Lefkowitz of the Los Angeles Philharmomic. She then went on to become a student of Edie Markman, and later studied the Suzuki method. She also played in the American Youth Symphony, under the baton of Maestro Mehli Meta.

 

Jennifer currently plays with the Topanga Symphony and Moorpark Symphony. She is a member of the Westlake Village Symphony, with which she has been a featured soloist. She performs with several string quartets and jazz ensembles. She teaches one-on-one private lessons both in the public schools and private music academies, and also conducts middle school ensembles. 

 

Jennifer is a devoted dog mom to her two rescue dogs and lives in Moorpark CA.
